Ruboni Local Village

Ruboni village is located at the beautiful foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. The community consists of 4 villages namely Ruboni, Nyakabugha, Mihunga, and Bikone and gives home to about 5,000 People.

The main activities of those villages are farming, trade and tourism and you can visit and experience the daily life of rural Uganda by staying with us in Ruboni village. Local meals can be enjoyed in some of the village's restaurants and you can check out the handcrafts produced by the community or explore the surrounding forests and rivers. Launching off Ruboni you can easily access the Rwenzori Mountains National Park with the opportunity to join many multi-day trekking trails, snow-capped mountain peaks and hilltop walks.
