Kibale Forest National Park
The Kibale Forest National Park is known for accommodating several communities of chimpanzees as well as a wide selection of other monkey species like the Uganda mangabey, the Ugandan red colobus or the L'Hoest's monkey. Besides that, the Kibale Forest National Park is home to 325 species of birds and neighbouring the Queen Elizabeth National Park herds of elephants and buffaloes are regularly moving between the two National Parks. With an area of 766 square kilometres, it is situated in western Uganda just before the rise of the Rwenzori Mountains. It is still inhabited by two traditional tribes and it maintained flora and fauna in the most natural way. Therefore, the Kibale Forest National Park offers a unique experience of wildlife and nature.
We can assist and offer tours to trek and encounter the chimpanzee communities of Kibale Forest National Park. Meeting the chimpanzees is a spectacular experience and seeing them in their natural habitat will remain a lifelong memory for every visitor.
