Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park is situated in the Kiruhura District of Southwestern Uganda. It's one of the smaller National Parks of Uganda covering an area of about 260 square kilometres but provides a high density of wildlife including zebras, hippopotami, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, elands and some predators. It is also known for having about 300 different bird species. The vegetation creates beautiful landscapes and views, containing grasslands, acacia forests and lakes or moorlands.

The park offers game drives, walking safaris and boat tours to provide a diverse experience for all visitors. Besides that, visitors can learn about the traditional local culture by visiting the Igongo Cultural Centre.
